HAMMOND, Ind. (November 21, 2017) – The Indiana Welcome Center’s annual exhibit, A Christmas Story Comes Home, kicked off with “A Major Event” and a pop-up Holiday Market on December 2. Though the event is over, the exhibit is still open for visitors after Christmas and into the new year.

The exhibit includes six animatronic window displays that feature iconic scenes from the movie. Christmas trees decorated by local businesses and organizations add to the festive ambience.

The A Christmas Story Comes Home exhibit, which is presented in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, runs through January 7, 2018. The Indiana Welcome Center is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at the intersection of I-80/94 and Kennedy Avenue South in Hammond, Indiana. The exhibit will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
