Registered sex offender arrested

LANSING, Ill. (May 10, 2018) – On May 09, 2018, the Lansing Police Department arrested Mark Darragh, a registered sex offender, on multiple intimidation and harassment related charges.

The Lansing Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant on Darragh’s home in response to an investigation stemming from several complaints from female victims.

Officers recovered various computers, cell phones, and electronic equipment believed to have been used by Darragh to harass and intimidate the victims.

Subsequent to the investigation, and with the cooperation of several victims, the Assistant State’s Attorneys Office approved two counts of felony intimidation against Darragh. Darragh was also charged with 1 count of harassment through electronic communications, a misdemeanor charge,

Mark Darragh was transported to the Cook County Courthouse in Markham for an initial bond hearing on May 10, 2018.
