Fourth annual Steps for Students scheduled for September 22

GLENWOOD, Illinois (August 5, 2018) – The fourth annual Steps for Students family fun walk will take place on the grounds of Glenwood Academy and surrounding area on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Registration opens at 9:00am with a light breakfast included.
The walk will start at 10:00am with an opening ceremony. The walk will be 3.1 miles long, though a 1-mile option will also be offered.
All funds raised through Steps for Students will support Glenwood Academy programs. Each year, Glenwood Academy serves 150 children and their families through its supportive educational academy that includes residential living, health and counseling services, family engagement, and advanced extra-curricular programming.
Over 90% of Glenwood Academy students come from low-income, single-parent homes. Glenwood Academy’s residential education program offers unique opportunities for advancement.
