Opening night of “A Wonderful Life” is this weekend at Munster Performing Arts Center. And The Lansing Journal still has tickets available for people who choose to become patrons.
Why people give
Now, we understand that people who choose to support The Lansing Journal do so because they believe in local, professional news coverage—not because of any promotional offers we might have. And we appreciate that distinction.
But these tickets were generously given to us by another local business, for the express purpose of helping us attract new supporters. And we appreciate that kind of creative partnership as well.
What giving does
Financial support from our community helps keep the presses running. It covers the cost of ink, paper, and postage, and it allows us to give a small stipend to our contributing writers. (They are worth much more, but they also love the Lansing community!)
So if you believe in professional, local news coverage, and you are able to give at the “Honorary Publisher” level of $500, we’d like to express our thanks with four complimentary tickets to A Wonderful Life: the Musical.

About the tickets
A Wonderful Life is the musical version of the old-fashioned, heart-warming Christmas story made famous by Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. The show will run November 19 through December 23. Normally, ticket prices range from $40–$44.
Patrons can make checks payable to The Lansing Journal and mail them to P.O. Box 742, Lansing IL 60438. We have a limited number of these tickets, so gifts will be awarded in order of postmark date.
