Lansing Voices:
Fox Pointe possibilities

-

Let’s brainstorm!

Fox Pointe
By this time next year, the Fox Pointe arena will have hosted its first performances. What would you like to see? (Photo: Melanie Jongsma, December 12, 2017)
Hey Lansing, the Fox Pointe development is well underway, and it’s been exciting to see the progress. As we reported in September, the first event scheduled to be held at Fox Pointe is Autumn Fest 2018, a weekend community gathering that involves, vendors, food, music, and games.

What else?

The question we’d like Journal readers to consider is, What else? After Autumn Fest, what events would you like to see at Fox Pointe? What Fox Pointe possibilities can you think of?

Tell us your favorite performers, but don’t limit yourself to musical entertainers! Fox Pointe is a new venue that represents new opportunities. Now is the time to consider all the possibilities.

Maybe there’s a drama group you’d like to see on our outdoor stage. Maybe we could host an art show. Maybe area churches would be interested in putting together a Gospel Fest. Or the Mexican Ballet Folklórico could put on an even bigger show than they did this past summer.

Let us know

The Lansing Journal has no involvement with scheduling events at Fox Pointe. We are only interested in hearing ideas from the Lansing community.

Send your ideas to The Lansing Journal. Limit yourself to 50 words. If you want, include a photo or a link.

We’ll publish as many Fox Pointe possibilities as we can—either online or in our January 3 print issue. Or both!
