LANSING, Ill. (April 6, 2018) – The Lansing Police Department arrested Anthony West, 40, of 3639 Jackson St., Lansing Illinois, on multiple drug and weapon related charges.
The Lansing Police Department’s Tactical Unit and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant on Anthony West’s home in response to a lengthy narcotics investigation led by the Lansing Police Tactical Unit and the Hammond, Indiana, Police Tactical Unit. West was taken into custody without incident during the execution of the search warrant.
Officers recovered both controlled substances and paraphernalia used for the manufacture and delivery of controlled substances in the residence. Two handguns were also seized from the home.
West was charged with multiple counts of manufacture and delivery of controlled substances and weapons violations and was transported to the Cook County Courthouse in Markham for an initial bond hearing on April 7, 2018.
