Park District offers movies in Lansing parks

LANSING, Ill. (June 1, 2018) – Lan-Oak Park District has scheduled a “Sizzling Summer Movie Series” that will include showings of six different movies in six different parks. Each movie night is offered in combination with a “Party in the Park”—music, bounce house, caricature artist, and video game truck. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

The parties begin at 6:30pm, with the movies shown at 8:30pm.

  • Friday, June 15—Paddington 2, at Van Laten Park (183rd and Holland)
  • Friday, June 29—Wonder Woman, at Lions Park (177th and Bernadine)
  • Friday, July 13—Coco, at Schultz Park (Schultz Drive and Ada Street)
  • Friday, July 20—Star Wars: The Last Jedi, at Rotary Park (193rd and Sherman)
  • Friday, August 3—Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, at Lan-Oak Park (180th and Arcadia)
  • Friday, August 17—A Wrinkle in Time, at Potts Park (172nd West of Oakwood Avenue)
