What are your plans for the future?

I plan to attend University of Illinois in Chicago and study Sports Medicine to be a physical therapist. I also plan to try out for the swim team in college.

What is your favorite subject and teacher and why?

My favorite subject is Anatomy because I enjoy learning about the human body. My favorite teacher is Mrs. Sudkamp because she has motivated me to not give up—not only in school, but also in the pool.

“Laura’s hard work and dedication has helped her to become an increasingly better swimmer. She has really done a nice job of swimming all year round and pushing herself to be a stronger swimmer.”

-Coach Simich, Head Swim Coach

Each month the TF South coaching staff choose to spotlight a male and female athlete whose performance on and off the field is notable. Students are nominated based on how they have helped their teams and the strength of their academic average that allows them to participate in sports.
