Boy Scouts to honor 9/11’s fallen

LANSING, Ill. (September 6, 2018) – The regular Tuesday meeting of Boy Scout Troop 276 falls on September 11 next week, so the troop will observe a memorial of America’s losses on September 11, 2001.

The troop will meet in front the American Legion (18255 Grant Street) at 7:00pm and walk across Ridge Road to the Lansing Firefighter’s Memorial.

The public is welcome to join this observance, meeting the Scouts either at the Legion or at the memorial.

Regular meetings of Troop 276 take place on Tuesdays at the American Legion Post 697, located at 18255 Grant Street in Lansing. Boys ages 11 to 17 are welcome to join. Contact Scoutmaster Chuck Murach for more information.
