CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. (September 19, 2018) – ABC 7’s Morning News has been running a school spirit competition among Chicago-area high schools. At 6:00am on Friday, September 28, they will do a Friday Flyover at Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights.
As the ABC 7 website explains, “The station sends Chopper 7 HD above local high schools to showcase their school spirit.”
Students at Marian Catholic will showcase their best formations and will get the chance to meet ABC 7’s Meteorologist Tracy Butler. The students will be showing off their school spirit for the 6:00am newscast with Terrell Brown and Tanja Babich in preparation for the Spartans’ home game against the Marist Red Hawks.
Details about voting for your favorite school spirit team will be available on abc7chicago.com in October.
