LANSING, Ill. (December 12, 2018) – Eight students from Oak Glen School arrived at Mancino’s in a white limousine at 11:30am on Tuesday. The limo and lunch were a reward for their fundraising efforts for Oak Glen’s Parent Teacher Association. These were the top eight fundraisers in the entire student body.
Accompanied by PTA Vice President Matthew Evans and PTA Treasurer Karie Breitenreiter, the kids filed into the restaurant and then into the kitchen, where plates of dough were waiting for them. Under the instruction of Mancino’s Alyssa, they applied sauce, cheese, and toppings, then brought their creations to Andrea to put through the oven.
