Liliana Fuitem (nee Traverso), age 82 of Lansing, IL, was born in the city of Cesuna, Provence of Vicenza, Italy, on January 19, 1936, to the late Emilio and Teresa Traverso. She was the sister of Giorgina Bihr, Mirella Testa, and the late Fernando Traverso.
She came to the United States in 1960 and was married for 54 years to Arthur Fuitem. They had one daughter, Sonya (Shane) Goff. She was grandmother to Shaye and Shaun Goff; great grandmother to Zaiden, Azailea, and Cash. Liliana loved and cared great for all her family and friends. A cancer survivor since 1987, she passed away on January 4, 2019, at the age of 82 with her loving family at her side.
Funeral services are pending but are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, January 12, 2019, at St. Ann Church in Lansing, IL.
