Lansing pick-up schedule adjusted

LANSING, Ill. (January 30, 2019) – Due to extreme weather conditions, Homewood Disposal Service will be closed again on Thursday, January 31. All area landfills are closed, and collection vehicles and HDS employees cannot safely provide collections in the extreme cold weather.
The following adjustments will be made to Lansing’s residential service schedule:
- Wednesday pick-up will be made on Friday.
- Thursday pick-up will be made on Friday/Saturday.
- Friday pick-up will be made on Saturday.
