Guitar Master Class scheduled for April 12
by Melanie Jongsma
LANSING, Ill. (March 9, 2019) – Amaryah LaBeff, an instructor at Visible Music College, hosted a sold-out Songwriter Master Class at the college last weekend. This intensive two-part class is designed to help 15 people from the community improve their songwriting craft.
Since choosing Lansing as their first satellite location (the original Visible campus is in Memphis, Tennessee), Visible Music College has found a variety of ways to bring music into the community. In addition to classes that are open to community members, Visible staff and students provide free concerts, music lessons for all ages, an annual Christmas concert, and other special events.
The next community class is a Guitar Master Class scheduled for April 12. Visible guitar instructor Aaron Harris—who is also the lead guitarist for Dick Diamond and the Dusters—will be performing a short music set and hosting the Master Class for people interested in lead electric guitar.
Visible Music College is located at 3404 Lake Street in Lansing. To learn more about the college, visit www.visible.edu.
