Lansing Old Timers to award $2,000 in grants

One $1,000 grant and two $500 grants to three high school seniors

LANSING, Ill. (April 21, 2019) – The Lansing Old Timers—an umbrella organization that oversees a number of youth sports programs in Lansing, Illinois—will award grants to three college-bound high school seniors who have participated in a program for at least two years. The one-time grants will include one $1,000 award and two $500 awards to seniors attending college in the fall of 2019.

Lansing Old Timer programs include Lansing Little League Baseball, Lansing Babe Ruth/Red Bird Baseball, Girls Softball, Volleyball, Lions Football, and Lions Poms & Cheer.

The application deadline is May 1.

Completed forms can be mailed to Frank Kiefor, Lansing Old Timers, PO Box 133, Lansing IL 60438. Applications must be postmarked by May 1 in order to be eligible for consideration.
