Heritage Middle School honors excellent students

LANSING, Ill. (May 19, 2019) – Each month, teachers at Heritage Middle School choose students to receive a Heritage Excellence Award. The award designates students who are role models in terms of:

  • positive attitude
  • character
  • behavior
  • scholarship
  • attendance

The Heritage Excellence Award winners for the months of February, March, April, and May are pictured below.

February

The winning students receive an HEA certificate, a red Heritage Excellence t-shirt (which they are encouraged to wear on any school day), a gift certificate to Buffalo Wild Wings, and an Olive Garden lunch with the Principal and Assistant Principal. Also, their picture is displayed for the entire school year in the school’s HEA Excellence case across from the school office.
