Opening weekend for Secret Life of Pets 2 provides opportunity for special event

LANSING, Ill. (May 27, 2019) – New Vision Theatres Cinema 8 in Lansing, Illinois, will host a special promotion for movie-goers on Saturday, June 8, from 3:00–8:00pm, for the opening of Secret Life of Pets 2—a pet adoption and fundraiser.
From 3:00–5:00pm on Saturday, the special promotion will include adoptable pets, a Kids Activity Zone, and giveaways. The event will support the South Suburban Humane Society and their mission to promote the well-being of “pets and the people who love them” in the metro Chicago region. Movie-goers can also drop off donations throughout the weekend.
In addition, on Sunday, June 9, from 11:00am–4:00pm, Cinema 8 will host a blood drive by the American Red Cross. Donors will receive a movie pass, small popcorn and a $5 amazon gift card. To schedule an appointment, call 1-800-733-2767 or visit redcrossblood.org.
