The Lansing Journal journeys: Omaha, Nebraska

-

submitted by Lieutenant Colonels Koch and Koch

Lieutenant Colonel Janelle Koch and Lieutenant Colonel Brian Koch, both in the Air Force, have been stationed in Germany for the past three years. Brian is a 1995 graduate of TF South, and he and his wife are glad to be returning Stateside. His parents met the family—including Elizabeth (redhead) and Katelyn (blonde)—the day they landed in Omaha, and brought them The Lansing Journal to catch them up on hometown news, especially Fox Pointe! While their parents were house hunting in Omaha, the two girls spent three weeks in Lansing with their aunt, Jennifer Koch Polley, where they attended concerts and participated in the Lansing Public Library’s Yellow Brick Road scavenger hunt. Other people—adults and children—who want to follow the Yellow Brick Road can pick up a passbook and instructions at the Lansing Public Library, 2750 Indiana Avenue in Lansing, Illinois. The last day of the Wizard of Oz-themed scavenger hunt is August 10.

Keep those Journals journeying!
