LANSING and CALUMET CITY, Ill. (July 23, 2019) – District 215 arranged four days of Early Residency Verification for parents of incoming 9th-grade students. Three of those days remain:

  • Thursday, July 25, 1:00–3:00pm
  • Tuesday, July 30, 9:00–11:30am
  • Thursday, August 1, 1:00–3:00pm

At the July 23 District 215 School Board meeting, Marc Brewe reported on behalf of Principal Jake Gourley that 36 incoming 9th-graders came in on the first day of Early Residency Verification, which was earlier that morning.

“I want to commend the schools,” said Superintendent Teresa Lance after Brewe’s report, “because both schools talked about the Early Residency Verification, and that was huge. The team came together—really at the last minute—to try to curtail some of the congestion that may occur. I really want to commend everyone for pulling together to make that happen. The number of families that have already started the legwork ahead of time—that’s gonna really help.”

TF South High School is located at 18500 Burnham Avenue, Lansing, Illinois.

TF North High School is located at 755 Pulaski Road in Calumet City, Illinois.

The first day of school for both schools is Monday, August 19.
