Northwest Indiana Symphony Chorus auditioning new singers

MUNSTER, Ind. (August 6, 2019) – The Northwest Indiana Symphony Chorus will hold auditions for new singers on Friday, August 9, and Sunday, August 18, at the Center for the Visual and Performing Arts on Ridge Road in Munster.

The chorus rehearses weekly under the direction of Dr. Nancy Menk, and performs regularly with both the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra and the New Philharmonic Orchestra at the College Of Dupage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, both under the direction of Maestro Kirk Muspratt.

Repertoire for the coming season includes pieces that will feature male voices; the season will consist of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Bernstein’s West Side Story, and Bacalov’s Misa Tango, as well as Holiday Pops.
