Arabian Horses competing in Crete, Illinois

September 2–7 at Balmoral Park

CRETE, Ill. (August 13, 2019) – Exhibitors of all ages will check in to Lansing’s Comfort Suites and Sleep Inn, as well as other local establishments to compete in the Sport Horse National Arabian & Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show at Balmoral Park, September 2–7, 2019. The Arabian horses—36 of which are from Illinois—will compete in a variety of disciplines, including Dressage, In-Hand, Hunter, and more.

The competition is open to the public, and the community is invited to tour the show grounds and meet the horses through the Arabian Horse Association TAIL (Total Arabian Interaction & Learning) during these times:

  • Friday, September 6, 2:00pm
  • Saturday, September 7, 10:00am
  • Saturday, September 7, 2:00pm

Tours can be scheduled online.

The Sport Horse National Arabian & Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show will take place at Balmoral Park, 26435 South Dixie Highway, Crete, Illinois.
