South Holland Players to present Settling South Holland

SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. (November 9, 2019) – Settling South Holland is a play written by nationally known playwright Acie Cargill about the first settlers—the DeJongs, Gouwens, Ankers, Paarlbergs, and others—in what is now South Holland.

In honor of the 125th anniversary of the establishment of of the Town of South Holland, the play will be presented by the South Holland Players on Saturday, November 16, 1:00pm, at the South Holland Library. Admission is free.

Cargill has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for his work on Historic Pullman.

The South Holland Public Library is located at 16250 Wausau Avenue, South Holland, Illinois.
