The Lansing Journal journeys: Golden Gate Bridge

-

submitted by Alice Banach

The Banachs and the Raczaks were on the road with The Lansing Journal again—this time on a cruise down the West Coast. The friends were celebrating their 55th wedding anniversaries—the Raczaks’ in September and the Banachs’ in November. They flew to Vancouver, British Columbia, stayed overnight, and boarded the Norwegian Jewel the next day. The cruise made stops in the ports of Victoria, BC; Astoria, Oregon; and San Francisco, Monterey, and Los Angeles, California. In San Francisco the group stopped for a photo by the Golden Gate Bridge. “A fun time was had by all,” says Alice.
