Other highlights from Night 1 of the Roundball Classic

Hot Shots and MVPs

LANSING, Ill. (February 7, 2020) – In addition to the boys basketball games that comprise the Roundball Classic tournament, each game throughout the competition also includes a Hot Shot shootout for girls basketball players.

Hot Shots

MVPs

The Roundball Classic also includes MVP designations for each game. MVPs from the Game 1 matchup were Elias Johnson (5) from Lansing Christian and William Boyd (52) from Reavis (sorry, no photo).

The Roundball Classic tournament and Hot Shot competition continue Friday and Saturday, and the championship game and award ceremony will take place on Monday, February 10.

Saturday, February 8

  • G6 11:00 Heritage v. Lansing Christian

  • G8 1:00 Lansing Christian v. Coolidge
  • G9 2:00 Heritage v. Oak Glen
  • G10 3:00 Coolidge v. Reavis

Monday, February 10

  • 6:30 Award ceremony for all participants
  • G11 7:00 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

All games are held at Memorial Junior High School (2721 Ridge Road).
