LANSING, Ill. (February 26, 2020) – For the past two years, dozens of businesses have set up booths at Kacey’s Banquet Hall. This year the Lansing Area Chamber will take advantage of the “built-in traffic” at the Eisenhower Center to increase visibility for the 2020 Business Expo.
The annual Business Expo showcases local organizations, giving residents an opportunity to meet local business owners, learn about community organizations, and pick up free samples from old favorites as well as new options. The Expo is open to churches, schools, and organizations as well as businesses. Exhibitors are encouraged to provide free samples, giveaways, and interactive games that will attract residents as well as other businesses to their booths.
Residents who have attended previous Business Expos were impressed with the number and variety of local organizations.
This year’s Expo is a daytime event—10:00am until 2:00pm. Participating organizations are allowed to sell product, interview potential hires, announce new product offerings, encourage subscribers, recruit members, meet competitors, and publicize activities and services.
Chamber members pay $100 to participate in the Business Expo, and that fee includes a table, two chairs, and two boxed lunches.
The Business Expo is open to the public, and there is no cost to come in and browse the booths.
The 2020 Business Expo is scheduled from 10:00am–2:00pm on Wednesday, March 18, at the Eisenhower Center: 2550 178th Street in Lansing, Illinois.
