Lansing resident charged with Unlawful Possession of Cannabis

LANSING, Ill. (March 4, 2020) – On February 28, at approximately 4:50am, the Lansing Police Department’s Tactical Unit, with the assistance of Lansing’s Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant on the residence at 2235 176th Place. Dalvin Kimmons, age 27 of Lansing, was taken into custody and ultimately charged with Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver.

Kimmons was processed and transported to the Markham Courthouse located at 16501 S. Kedzie Markham, Illinois, where he was held with no bond.

At the time of the search warrant, Kimmons was already on electronic monitoring for previous weapons charges.

The arrest was the result of an extensive drug investigation that was developed through leads from concerned citizens in the Lansing community.
