LPD Alert: Missing man with dementia—FOUND

NOTICE: Five hours after the original CodeRed Alert issued by the Lansing Police Department, the following update was released: The Lansing Police Department is happy to report that Albert Dean, the 68-year-old who wandered away earlier today, has been located and is safe. Thank you for your assistance.

LANSING, Ill. (November 9, 2020, 2:01pm) – The Lansing Police Department is asking for help in locating a missing 68-year-old who suffers from early onset dementia.

Albert Dean was last seen in the 17800 block of Escanaba Avenue around 11 a.m. today and walked away in an unknown direction.

Albert is a 68-year-old black male with gray hair, last seen wearing a brown coat, tan pants, and gym shoes. Albert is approximately 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. If anyone has seen Albert, or anyone matching his description, please call 911.
