The Lansing Journal journeys: expressive punctuation

-

submitted by Michael Bolz

“My wife Alissa and I corrected the punctuation on your headline,” wrote reader Michael Bolz after receiving the December print edition. He then added, “Great work, by the way—appreciated!” (Photo: Michael Bolz)

Thank you, Bolz family. We appreciate this example of community collaboration and editorial expression.

The Lansing Journal Journeys is an award-winning feature that showcases people displaying The Lansing Journal in creative locations.

We initiated the series because we are a community newspaper, and we like to see community faces in our pages and community names in our photo credits.

To participate, grab a copy of The Lansing Journal—in print or online—and snap a photo—it doesn’t have to be exotic or far. Email your photos to [email protected] and tell us:

  1. The names of any people (or animals) in the photo
  2. Some information about the location
  3. The name of the person who took the photo

We’ll publish them online as soon as possible and in print if we have room. Make sure you are subscribed, so you see your photos when we post them!
