Andrew Vander ZeeAndrew Vander Zee, age 89, of South Holland, IL passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Alberta Mae Vander Zee, nee Zylstra. Loving father of Deanne (John) Dykstra, Marilyn (Tom) Fast, Don (Jackie) Vander Zee, Alison (Dave) Veurink, and Jan (Mark) DeMars. Devoted grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Richard (Albertha) Vander Zee, Willard (Arlene) Vander Zee, Evelyn (Warren) Brunsting, and the late Joyce (Dave) Bloemendaal. Preceded in death by his parents John and Theressa Vander Zee.

Andy owned and operated Lansing Paint & Supply (Towne Interiors) in Lansing for many years. He was a graduate of the first graduating class at Illiana Christian High School, a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of South Holland for many years, and a proud United States Korean War Army veteran. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 3:00 – 6 :00 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. South Holland, IL. Funeral service Monday, March 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at First Christian Reformed Church, 16248 South Park Ave, South Holland, IL with Rev.
